2022 US Grand Prix Free Practice-1 Qualifying Simulation Data Analysis
The Fastest lap time was set by the Ferrari of Carlos Sainz data taken from the FP-1 session I have used the data of the fastest drivers in the top 4 teams. I will post a long Run Pace Analysis after the fp3 session.
SAINZ VS VERSTAPPEN
SAINZ VS VERSTAPPEN MINISECTOR
-> RedBull is strong in sector 2 whereas Ferrari are strong in sector 1 and 3
-> Ferrari looks competitive in medium and low-speed corners
-> RedBull is competitive in the high-speed corners but is struggling to extract the performance in medium and low-speed corners
->RedBull is the fastest car in the straights with top speeds reaching up to 320 kmph Ferrari reaching 313 kmph
->Ferrari has better traction out of the medium and low-speed corners.
SAINZ VS HAMILTON
-> Mercedes is strong in sector 2 but is losing a considerable amount of time to Ferrari is sectors 1 and 3.
->Mercedes seem to have an advantage over Ferrari in medium-speed corners
->Ferrari is faster than Mercedes in high and low-speed corners.
->Mercedes are competitive when it comes to top speeds to Ferrari but are way slower than RedBull in the Straights.
-> Ferrari generally has Better traction out of the corners.
SAINZ VS ALONSO
SAINZ VS ALONSO MINISECTOR
->Alpine loose time to Ferrari in all sectors.
->Alpine are competitive in medium speed corner
->Alpine have a straight line speed advantage over Ferrari, this may be them following the RedBull aero philosophy
->Alpine generally has better traction out of corners over Ferrari.

Realistically only RedBull and Ferrari can compete for the pole this weekend, this data may change come quali day since engine mode and fuel loads teams are running are unknown.
